It is cold here today, and I am a sunshine girl!
Sometimes you just need a does of sunshine!

We are going to take this dried out beat up table and turn it into a warm conversation piece.
Step one: Sand off the rough edges.
Step two: I spray painted the whole table because it had a very un-even finish. I chose gold so that when I distress, a little metallic will show through.
Step three: Start at the bottom with yellow(DIY Queen Bee) and begin blending up into orange (DIY Summer Crush) and then into red (DIY Marquee).

Step four: Turquoise on the top of the table (DIY Old 57) and blend yellow and red in sparingly.

Step five: Hand paint your sunflower, or any design you choose.
Step six: I chose to distress it back - you may or may not want to go with this step.
Step seven: Seal it up with your choice of sealer. I went with a polyacrylic because it needs to be pretty hardy.
